It's no secret that this place changed my life. I have been very vocal about that. I almost missed my first trip to Egypt because I did not want to quit my contract for this trip during the pandemic. Thankfully, my daughter made it clear I would not be missing out on this trip with her which we had planned a year prior. We made it and were taken aback at the immense size of the pyramids, standing before the Sphinx in a land known as the start of civilization.

We had such incredible experiences here and the food was unforgettable. I would not change a thing. We had Egypt to ourselves in those days. Driving through the desert in the middle of the night just staring out at the dark sky with the occasional camel walking by really touches you deep at your core.

Memories to remember

I came away from Egypt a changed person. It’s where I found meaning in my life and the motivation to change the direction of my career, life and goals. I can’t stress to you enough... if you feel you have lost yourself in life for whatever reason, and you feel the need for healing and meaning, consider Egypt. There’s something so spiritual about this place that opens your soul to new life. I have made this trip alone as well and I’ve spent 5 days in Cairo taking in all the views from the rooftops.
